Steps to Join:

1: Obtain Your PPL

Flying members are required to have at least their Private Pilot’s License in order to join.

2: Reach Out via Email

Let us know you are interested in joining by sending an email to info@gigharborflyingclub.org

3: Attend a Safety Meeting & Meet Two Board Members

We want to get to know you, too! We ask all prospective members to attend one of our monthly safety meetings held every second Saturday of the month. You can get a feel for the club and meet at least two board members in the process. 

4: Submit Application for Review

If you decide you want to join, you can submit an application along with a flying resume, and cover letter. 

5: Upon Approval, Complete Orientation and Onboarding

After approval from the board you will be invited to formally tour our hangars and office facility and then complete your orientation with a board member. 

6: Aircraft Checkout and Enjoyment!

Once you are onboarded, you can schedule a lesson with a club approved CFI to get checked out in our aircraft and begin enjoying the benefits of your membership.
